Hello Mr Chapman,
We've found your account now, thank you for getting back to us with your ref number. We apologise again for the difficulties you've experienced but as we have explained, the account details you provided were not valid. We tried sending the funds multiple times as instructed, but they were returned to us on each occasion.
We can assure you that Currencies Direct does not charge any fees on our transfers. Unfortunately the deductions you mentioned were applied by the intermediary bank and were completely outside of our control.
We appreciate your frustration though and a member of our team will be in touch to see if there is anything else that we can do for you.
Best Wishes,
The Currencies Direct Team

Great to deal with - It was all my fault! I caused a problem between Currencies Direct and my UK bank (RBS) by miscalculating my Current Account balance. Both parties did their best to sort this out, but the folk at CD kept calm and reassuring and helpful throughout, despite my near panic!
I have always been impressed, over many years, at the friendly and personal relationships one is able to establish with the people in this high pressure business. They are easily reached by phone, they listen with patience, and they explain carefully what has to be done. I'm very, very satisfied with their service over a long, long time. Thank you CD.

“I recently sold a property in Spain and one of my concerns was getting a good deal on exchanging the euors for sterling. I made a very good choice in Currencies Direct to organise this for me. Right from the beginning the service was highly professional, friendly and without complications. This made the stressful experience of selling a property abroad a lot easier to deal with. Everything was explained to me in a clear, concise manner, no questions were left unanswered and the money was back in my UK account very quickly, exactly as promised. Thanks to all the team in Nerja, Spain” - Gary Cohen on Saturday, November 25, 2017

Currency transfer made easy! - I had to send a fairly large sum abroad, and wasn't sure how to do it. Currencies Direct assigned me a contact who answered all my email and phone queries and steered everything through quickly and efficiently with no problems at all. In fact I was amazed how fast and easy it was. I would use Currencies Direct again without hesitation” said Sylvie on Tuesday, October 31, 2017
